With more than 25 years of experience as a senior analytical chemist, I bring an extensive background in organic and inorganic chemistry to every formulation. Rather than simply combining ingredients, we approach formulation by understanding the chemistry behind them—why they are selected, how they interact, and what purpose they serve.

Our journey into soapmaking extends beyond the laboratory. Through travels around the world, we have experienced different traditions and approaches to cleansing and learned the fundamental principles of saponification—the remarkable chemical reaction that transforms oils and fats into soap.
